In this article, we will guide you on how to copy trades to multiple DXTrade accounts. While we are using DXTrade as an example, the same process applies to Match-Trader.
Setting Up Multiple DXTrade Accounts
To copy trades to multiple DXTrade accounts, you need to attach the EA (Expert Advisor) to multiple charts within your MT4/MT5 platform—one for each DXTrade account you want to copy trades to.
Example:
If you have two DXTrade accounts and want to copy trades to both, follow these steps:
- Attach the EA to two different charts.
- Configure each EA instance with the credentials for a specific DXTrade account.
Configuring the EA for Multiple Accounts
Each EA instance must be configured separately to avoid conflicts. Here's what to do:
1. Set a Unique FileNumber for Each EA Instance:
The Unique FileNumber is critical for saving data without conflicts. If you run multiple EA instances on the same MT4/MT5 platform, each instance must have a different Unique FileNumber.
Example:
- EA 1: Set Unique FileNumber = 222
- EA 2: Set Unique FileNumber = 333
Failing to assign unique numbers will cause data conflicts between the EAs.
2. Use Different DXTrade Credentials:
Each EA instance must be configured with a unique set of DXTrade account credentials. Never use the same DXTrade account credentials on multiple EA instances.
Additional Tips
- You can attach the EA to any currency pair chart; the pair you choose does not affect the copying process.
- Always double-check that each EA instance has a unique Unique FileNumber and different account credentials.
Key Points to Remember
- Attach the EA to separate charts for each DXTrade account.
- Set a unique Unique FileNumber for each EA instance.
- Use different DXTrade credentials for each EA.
By following these steps, you can seamlessly copy trades from MT4/MT5 to multiple DXTrade (or Match-Trader) accounts using our copy trading robot.
